MODELS' BOARD AT LOUIS VUITTON F/W 2010

Don't get me wrong please, I've been admiring models all my life, trying to copy their style, how they look and what they eat or do to have such a great body, but this picture here from Carolines mode was so revealing... It's almost funny to look at all these amazing and beautiful models we are used to see as divas and icons and now see them as normal girls. No make up, hair tied back. At the very first sight I'd almost had difficulty in recognising some of them! Look at Laetitia, for example, or  Mariacarla Boscono, Karolina Kurkova, Alessandra Ambrosio or Bianca Balti, obviously cute girls, but also very next-door. Rosie Huntington Whiteley seems to be just come out from the movie Avatar!!! And please believe me, I like them all, there are between my favourite ones... Cool! Thank you Caroline for sharing this picture!

P.S. Look at the last one: Elle MacPherson is a myth, she's older than everybody else in the picture and she doesn't really care. Her smile makes her the most beautiful one.

CELINE MINIMALISM FROM TOMMY TON'S VIEW OF THE F/W 2010-2011 CATWALK SHOW

Love these pictures from Jak&Jil from which you can see shapes and details, he shot so closely you got the sensation you can almost feel the fabric

CLEMENCE POESY ON TATLER UK - APRIL 2010

I don't see her as a true beauty actually, but I find her very fascinating, charming and most of all I love her personal style, she's got a very French I-don't-really-care-of-what-people-think look which I'm absolutely trying to copy myself. I've got another article about her to post from Vogue Uk. Stay tuned if you like her either.

KATE MOSS FOR VOGUE HOMMES INTERNATIONAL BY MARIO SORRENTI

This incredible shoot by Mario Sorrenti was showing a lot of leave-nothing-to-the-imagination photos of Kate Moss and, even if I'm usually very greedy and curious in finding out how models' body look like, I've found myself quite picky in choosing the ones I should post. Most of the times I'd prefer not to show the very nude pics in which you don't have anything to imagine, so this is my selection above. If you would like to see the entire photoshoot click here http://fashiongonerogue.com/2010/03/19/kate-moss-nude-by-mario-sorrenti-vogue-hommes-international-spring-2010/

VALENTINO FALL WINTER 2010 2011: SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COLLECTION

This is my selection from Valentino Fall/Winter 2010 catwalk show. Actually there were a lot of exits I've really liked but these posted here are for sure my favourites. Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli's  first collection for spring/summer 2010 was something I really didn't expect, but this time I was absolutely speechless in front of these amazing clothes. I love ruffles, that's true (that's also why I'm deeply in love with Lanvin dresses, Chloè feminine blouses and Stella's clothes), but I went totally crazy when I first saw these   elegant shapes and the special combination of colours. Red and nude matched together is my obession of the moment (and also lots, lots of beige, I have to admit that too!).

AUTUMN/WINTER 2011 - PARIS FASHION WEEK INSPIRATION

As you can see from the multitude of pictures I've posted, Paris is the most exciting fashion week - full of inspiration to me - and that's why it is absolutely my favourite between all of them. Almost everyone was showing the utility trend - very this moment - with even just a military green piece or a parka and some others were already anticipating the minimalism/neoclassic elegance trend (tons and tons of beige, nude and caffè latte) we saw on the 2011 autumn/winter catwalks. It seems that after all this sparkle, skinnies you can't even breath in, 80s big shoulders, we are all feeling like being more feminine and relaxed (still sexy but in a different way).
My favourite outfits were those of Clemence Posey, Dree Hemingway, the lovely Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, the unique Giovanna Battaglia and the new-entry Garance Dorè (I've loved what she did on her blog for these collections). Absolutely loved Rosie Huntington Whiteley - her Isabel Marant fur waistcoat with flashes of bright pink is to die for - she's got such a sexy "purr" face whatever she decides to put on.
